I have always loved photography and actually studied at Massachusetts College of Art from 1977-81. Life and family happened and I did not pursue my passion seriously until about four years ago while on sabbatical from my job in reinsurance. I have since retired and I am trying to find my artistic voice in this medium. I continue to take classes and attend workshops to hone my craft and grow as an artist.
I began to show my work in 2017 exhibiting in CT, MA and NYC as well as a several international online galleries. I have been honored with numerous awards for my images.
The camera has provided me with a window into moments that I may not have otherwise witnessed. I use photography to connect to the people around me; to capture moments in time that may be overlooked in the preoccupied, hurried world in which we live. I strive to create images that tell a story and evoke an emotional response.
